How does it work?
The generator uses your browser’s cryptographically secure random function. Characters are picked at random, and every character type you enabled is included.
You can also look at the source code yourself.
Can I trust the generator?
Technically, the generator is built so that passwords are created directly on your device and need no connection to the server.
Still, with any password generator on a website you have to trust that the site actually delivers the code it describes.
For your most important accounts I therefore still recommend the generator of your own password manager.
Try it yourself
Load the page completely, then disconnect from the internet and generate a new password. It works offline too.
One more thing
On Windows, copied passwords can stay in the clipboard history. You can check it with Win + V and delete them there if needed.
Also, do not just send passwords by email or chat.
