In short

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking and loads no third-party content. Fonts, images and scripts come from its own server.

Personal data is only processed because a website technically needs connection data, and when you write to me through the form.

Storage in your browser

Without a choice of your own, the colour scheme follows your device's light or dark setting, and nothing is stored. If you pick a colour scheme at the top right, your browser stores that choice locally (localStorage) so it is kept for your next visit. It is not sent to the server and can be deleted at any time in your browser settings. This is required for the function you asked for (Section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021).

The password generator only runs in your browser. Generated passwords are neither sent anywhere nor stored.

Hosting

The website runs on a virtual server I rent from IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS. Under this agreement, processing generally takes place in the EU or the European Economic Area.

The web server of this website writes no access logs, so your IP address is not stored in server logs. Technical error messages are kept only in small amounts and are overwritten automatically.

Delivery via Cloudflare

Requests to this website pass through the network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Data may be transferred to the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR).

If an attack is detected, Cloudflare may set technically necessary security cookies. Apart from that, Cloudflare sets no cookies on this website.

Contact form

If you use the form, I process your name, email address and message to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for requests about a possible contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Providing the data is voluntary, but without it I cannot reply.

The message is delivered by email through Resend (Resend, 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA). Sending runs through servers in Ireland, Resend stores delivery data in the USA. A data processing agreement is in place with Resend, and Resend is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Cloudflare Email Routing then forwards the message to my email mailbox at Google (Gmail, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).

To prevent abuse, the form service briefly counts requests per IP address in memory. The IP address is not stored permanently and is discarded within two hours at the latest.

I delete your message once the request is settled and no longer needs to be kept.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to me through the contact form.
